Vice President, Corporate Development recruitment
On behalf of our exclusive client we are currently sourcing a corporate finance professional to lead originating and executing investments. This person must have experience within the Defence Sector and have considerable networks across Asia Pacific.
Key responsibilities
- Deal sourcing in line with the strategy of the business, including sector analysis and identification of strategic targets through to individual company acquisitions
- Undertaking of due diligence and valuation process of target companies
- Coordination of effective transactions to ensure the maximization of the level of investment return
- Execution of the deal right through to the realisation of investment
- Provision of strategic and tactical advice and guidance to acquired companies and ensuring delivery of required returns and changes
- Identification of potential markets in line with Fund strategies
- Developing effective relationships with key strategic partners, advisors etc
Person Specification
- MBA with 7+ years experience in the defence sector
- Likely background to have completed initial 3 years with an investment bank, private equity firm, management consultant, then gone to complete an MBA
- Proven expertise in dealing sourcing, analysis, structuring, integration and then through to exit in the defence sector
- Expertise across the defence sector with a network at the appropriate levels across companies, government departments, investment banks, legal firms and consultancy practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well presentation skills
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others at peers level and vertically within the organization as well as client management
- Ability to prioritize and complete difficult and complex assignments within strict timeframes
