The corporate office in New York City has an immediate opportunity for a VP, Finance Corporate Development reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer.

Position Overview:
The role will entail working with the CFO on a wide range of projects including capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, corporate strategy, business development, financial analysis and presentations. Travel will be required.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
* Analyze potential acquisition candidates, including preparing valuation scenarios
* Prepare memoranda recommending transactions to senior management and Board of Directors
* Assist in the negotiation of transactions
* Assist CFO and Treasury group in with capital markets analysis and transactions
* Industry peer analysis benchmarking Omnicom against principal competitors
* Create and maintain quantitative models for business analysis and what-if scenarios
* Conduct other analyses and business reviews as directed by CFO

Job Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree from a leading university or equivalent. MBA preferred
* Minimum 8 years business experience
* Must have corporate valuation skills and be proficient in financial modeling
* Solid understanding of financial statements and accounting
* Prior experience working in investment banking or corporate development is desired
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced knowledge of Excel and ability to create PowerPoint presentations
* Strong verbal and written communications skills, strong quantitative skills
* Must be detail-oriented and able to work independently
