Vice President ( Finance Department ) recruitment
You will be a member of the Accounting team in the Finance Department (FD). FD is responsible for financial management across the group covering public and private market asset classes. The key roles of the Department include managing the finance and accounting function for investment holding and corporate management companies, reviewing financial controls for asset operations, providing financial information for reporting on investments under management, and arranging external debt financing. These assets are invested globally and span various sectors, private and public portfolio companies, funds and debt instruments.
Your primary responsibilities include:
- reviewing accounting and management reports for investment assets and corporate management companies
- preparing financial statements for investment holding companies based in Singapore and offshore, and providing financial inputs on holding structures
- overseeing transaction accounts and liaising with banks on funding requirements across different countries
- handling corporate secretarial functions for investment holding companies
- reviewing financial controls for asset operations and liaising with external auditors
- planning and reviewing the group corporate budgets for the corporate management companies
- responding to information needs of management and working on system projects periodically to meet new accounting and business requirements
You should possess a good Honours Degree in Accountancy, and at least 12-15 years relevant working experience, with at least 3 years in a public accounting firm doing Audit or Tax. We are looking for a strong team player with excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills, who is keen to learn and pick up new challenges in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
