Vice President, Fixed Income Compliance, Investment Bank recruitment
Reporting to the Regional Head of Fixed Income Compliance, you will provide advisory services across a varied product range including global emerging markets, credit, rates and structuring desks across Asia. You will be responsible for policy review, new product approvals, multi-jurisdictional regulatory issues and transaction reviews. As a senior member of the team, you will be required to liaise extensively with the business regarding regional regulatory changes and highlight the impacts of such on business and trade processes. Furthermore, you will assist with regulatory reports highlighting risk movements and provide training to new staff.
The successful candidate will possess at least 8-10 years' relevant experience in the compliance area of a global investment bank. Previous exposure to an array of fixed income products is essential as is a good working knowledge of regional regulatory frameworks and risk issues facing business operations in Asia. You will be an independent decision maker, able to make time-sensitive assessments and project manage effectively. You will also possess first rate communication skills and be highly competent at problem solving. Fluency in spoken and written English essential.
