VICE PRESIDENT, FLORIDA OPERATIONS Job in Jacksonville, Florida Us

A Jacksonville, FL based management company seeks a seasoned professional   to help grow the company and to make it the best in the industry. 

We are looking for a leader who will be the “Face” of the company throughout FL.  He/she will report directly to the President/CEO and be responsible to lead, motivate, manage staff and be accountable for FL portfolio consisting of market rate and LIHTC properties.

The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker and decision maker who possesses a strong property management operations and marketing background. He/she must also have superior team- building/mentoring capabilities and a keen eye for detail.  A thorough knowledge of financials, budget creation coupled with ability to comprehend and manage multiple marketplaces is a necessity.

Responsibilities:

Build site/regional management teams; lead, manage, evaluate team members.

Oversee staffing and training.

Develop/direct dynamic marketing programs for properties.

Assume ultimate responsibility for performance of properties within FL portfolio.

Monitor NOI performance with close attention to revenues and operating expenses.

Assist Regionals and Accounting in developing meaningful budgets.

Work with accounting to provide timely, accurate financial statements.

Create and implement corporate policies and procedures.

Interact with property owners/asset managers and company President/CEO.

Pursue new business opportunities.

 

Minimum requirements:

BA or BS degree

CPM designation preferred

10+ years of property management leadership experience.

Equivalent work experience with bottom line responsibility will be considered.

Experience with LIHTC a plus

Strong leadership and organizational skills

Strong written and oral communication skills

Excellent technical skills
