Principle Accountabilities:
In the role of a Relationship Manager, you will manage the Global Banking relationships to deliver quality service to customers and grow our wallet share. Through effective management of the Global Banking relationships, you will ensure that the clients have access to the relevant product suite and global network of HSBC. Using a client focused approach, you will:
- Originate financing solutions with product partners to secure a greater share of wallet
- Have responsibility to grow profitability on a relationship returns enhancing basis
- Be expected to work with the Global Account Officer and local Relationship Managers to grow the relationship in Singapore and the region for regional account managed names
- Deliver quality service to clients and jointly with the Risk Analysis Unit/COBAM and product partners (where appropriate), you will accurately identify and assess the credit risks of the facilities to the clients and ensure that documentation is in line with approved credit terms
- Have responsibility particularly for the Renewable Energy/Mining/Offshore portfolio
Skills/Attributes:
- Graduate with good academic qualifications
- At least 5 years of corporate banking experience
- Familiarity with cash management, trade and credit risk
- Strong inter-personal and communication skills
- Possess initiative, drive, strong client orientation and confidence to engage regional treasurers
- Cohesive team player
