Vice President – Global Equity Fund Manager recruitment
This is an exceptional opportunity for a candidate with a proven track record as a Global Fund Manager
Responsibilities:
To successfully manage sectors and securities portfolios with an emphasis on outperforming the relevant standard industry benchmarks via stock and sector selection in order to enhance the performance of the portfolios
To actively monitor markets and conduct fundamental analysis on the Global stock markets to ensure that all equity investment decisions are based upon sound investment methodologies and within agreed levels of authority and investment policies
To monitor and inform Senior Management of any investment in their area of responsibility which may from time to time be placed for strategic reasons.
To represent the Department effectively in dealings with external third parties and associated organisations.
To support other Fund Managers across the investment department as appropriate
Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge:
Bachelor’s degree with an additional professional qualification in investment management: CFA. IIMR or equivalent
Extensive experience in institutional fund management in the Global Equity Market and can demonstrate a good performance track record within in the City.
Knowledge of the concepts of market standard methodologies, including a good understanding of modern portfolio theory and risk management techniques.
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with the ability to gain credibility both internally and externally.
