Vice President- Global Valuation group recruitment
Global Valuation Group Overview (GVG)
The GVG team independently values assets and financial derivatives that the bank holds globally. This function requires specialized knowledge on different financial products such as bonds, options, credit derivatives, interest rate derivatives etc. Furthermore, it requires strong quantitative skills which need to be used in conjunction with knowledge of models, markets and specific products to come up with opinions on the valuation of such assets. It also requires extensive communication with onshore trading desks and other finance groups.
GVG is currently located across centers in New York, London AND Singapore. Mumbai is in a build out phase and will become the main GVG center in due course of time. The group is currently split into three asset classes: Rates/FX/Commodities, Global Credit and Global Equities. The Global Valuation Group takes only the most qualified and exceptional candidates looking for a challenging career, which will propel the individuals' professional progression making them one of the most hirable candidates in the market.
The GVG group in Deutsche is one of the first such groups in Mumbai and there are very few if any multinational banks that have done the same thing of now. Hence, it is our challenge to find bright, inquisitive, analytical minds who want to potentially build a career in valuations. We are also looking for people who are quick learners and who have a true passion for the valuation space.
