Vice President, Head of Decision Science
As the Head of Decision Science, your focus will be to drive business performance through providing leadership across the businesses to promote analytics driven decision making processes across multiple segment/product portfolios. You will also drive the solution delivery across the businesses to implement all analytics solutions to achieve business requirements, deliver on time to schedule and generate leads to protect and grow regional/country income in line with sales targets. You will lead a team to provide hands on knowledge of development and implementation developing and implementing of decision science solutions; including propensity and risk/reward modelling, campaign targeting analytics, CRM tools and data systems usage. gained from highly respected financial services firms.
Responsibilities
- Manage, lead, and mentor assigned team to maximize productivity and deliver results by drive overall retail performance by conducting business portfolio analysis, providing MIS support and managing statistical models
- Provide leadership and expertise in developing and implementing analytics solutions to support all customer segments and the marketing and risk function to protect and grow income as per sales country targets
- Drive customer-centric analytics from a sales and marketing perspective
- Leverage new global capabilities best practices across the business analytics community
- Support business decisions through the delivery of:
- Customer segmentation
- Acquisition targeting
- Behavioral modelling
- Customer and product profitability analyses
- Assist in setting up of portfolio strategies, design and conduct campaign management, champion-challenger strategies across different phases of customer and product life cycle
- Perform in-depth quantitative analysis for portfolio management and strategy development
- Conduct research studies to identify new opportunities and areas to focus in
- Work with business units to develop product propensity model (e.g. acquisition, usage and retention) and micro-segmentation
- Ensure that database usage is in accordance to regulatory requirements
- Lead and mentor team to provide business value and actionable insights.
- Drive change and get the buy in from all stakeholders to adopt and leverage a more scientific approach in campaign targeting
- Follow company policies and procedures and comply with all regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree with discipline in Mathematics, Statistics, Operational Research, Economics or Finance
- At least 10 years Analytics experience, with a proven leadership track record driving business performance and sponsorship by senior stakeholders
- Knowledge of programming language including SQL, R, Java, .Net
- Possess good knowledge and experience in Marketing analytics
- Strong Business acumen and understand what drives profitability
- Knowledge of Banking, Customer Relationship Management and risk management will be preferred
- Possess strategic perspective with strong coordination, planning, analytical and problem solving skills
- Possess strong leadership and people management skills
