We are currently seeking a Vice President of Human Resources (VP HR) to join our team.
The VP HR at VXI will play a critical role in driving the business and people strategies for the organization. She/he must demonstrate the combination of business acumen and Human Resource functional knowledge to guide the development of HR strategies that will attract, develop and retain the breadth of talent who will drive VXI's business success.
Reporting to the COO, the VP HR participates as business partner and member of the executive team. As such this individual will contribute to the overall business planning process and specifically developing the human resources and functions necessary to achieve the plan.
The VP HR will have responsibility for all aspects of Human Resources management including recruitment, performance management systems, compensation and benefits, organization development, leadership development, and employee relations. The individual will have specific focus on building the VXI culture and innovative employee climate and will be a resource to each of the business unit heads.
Duties will include:
- As part of the business planning process establish the strategic Human Resources agenda to ensure that the business needs of VXI are anticipated and addressed
- Lead the executive team on organizational design, change management and aligning the workforce with company goals
- Champion business performance by taking a holistic approach to motivating and developing talent and know how to use all the available levers to achieve business objectives
- Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive, objective and ongoing succession planning process for the critical roles
- Implement integrated performance management systems to ensure focus on business goals, development of employee capabilities, retention of talent and career potential.
- Lead the development of metrics for the HR function that will guide leadership in measuring and managing organizational performance
- Provide a clear understanding of the human resource impact of operational and financial decisions under consideration
- Lead, manage, coach and develop the HR team
Qualified applicants must possess the following:
- Proven experience in the design, implementation and maintenance of compensation plans.
- The successful candidate will have current or prior experience in the top HR position for a private equity owned company and has participated in Board-level strategies for talent management and compensation.
- Strong background of demonstrated Human Resources leadership, having driven HR programs in rapidly developing, changing environments and having functioned successfully as the senior HR position in a growth company
- Broad and deep experience as an HR generalist with knowledge of HR business processes and with a particular emphasis on the areas of organizational development, change and management coaching
- Knowledgeable about new thinking and innovative approaches to managing human capital
- Demonstrated ability to develop, monitor and respond to HR and company metrics
- Broad business understanding and ability to apply to human capital implications
- Has applied financial acumen to department budgeting, cost projections, metrics
- 10 years Human Resources experience, with at least 5 years in senior management roles
- Demonstrated skills in leadership, communication, change management
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; MBA or other advanced degree is preferred
- Experience in BPO industry preferred
- PHR Preferred
