Vice President: Java Trading Technology (Java, J2EE, JavaScript)
An all senior Java development team is high in demand of a strong full stack Java developer to work on all aspects of web based trading applications in a fast-paced Agile environment. Currently this team is the financial markets leading provider of electronic trading platforms. The platforms are used by 19 of the top 20 largest asset managers. Preferential consideration will be given to candidates with evidence of potential growth into a Java Tech Lead role. As the Vice President Java Developer, you will work closely with business sponsors, be encouraged to use current technologies where applicable and are responsible for full life-cycle development tasks.
Technical Qualifications:
- Experience developing server side Java code for a web application in anEnterpriseenvironment utilizing a popular J2EE application server
- Experience developing browser based client side code using web technologies HTML, CSS, Struts, JSP,AJAX, DWR/JSON and especially working with client side JavaScript and corresponding toolkits like Ext JS
- Experience with database development including SQL and ORM tools like Hibernate
- Working knowledge of Spring, Java APIs, multi-threading, secure coding principles, web services
- 7+ years of professional software development
