Job Description

Responsible for delivery of integrated credit solutions to middle market clients. Partner closely with client-facing teammates in both the Global Investment Bank and Global Commercial Bank to consult on sales opportunities and provide the product expertise and consultation necessary to deliver the best possible solution to the client.

Responsibilities

The DPO has responsibility for client selection, due diligence, credit underwriting, documentation negotiation, and ongoing risk monitoring. In addition, DPO associate will also need to develop a strong understanding of related risks (reputation, market, legal, regulatory, operational) inherent in our client relationships. All of this is done to balance our risk/reward opportunities and to help ensure optimal use of the bank's capital and overall stability of our earnings.

  1. Analyze, recommend and manage Credit Risks on Clients working closely with business partners to support new business and grow the portfolio.
  2. Financial analysis, structuring underwriting and portfolio management of various client accounts.
  3. Maintain regular dialogue with clients for appropriate/ timely credit underwriting decision and monitoring of credit quality of clients
  4. Be an active member and / or driver of deal teams and contribute to the success of these teams
  5. On-going, timely, portfolio monitoring in accordance with credit policies and procedures based on level of risk
  6. Support ad hoc special projects, management reporting and assignments
