DUTIES
Morgan Stanley Co. LLC seeks a Vice President, Local Markets Trading Group, Fixed Income and Commodities Division in New York, NY to trade Chilean peso outright and FX swaps in Chilean local markets, CEEMEA in New York afternoon, and back up other Latin American currencies including Mexico, Colombia, Argentina and Peru. Perform daily trading, overnight positions USD/CLP and swaps points up to one year. Book and manage offshore trading portfolios. Communicate on daily basis in Spanish with clients. Handle the books of Middle East Currencies (USDILS, USDTRY, USDZAR, etc) swaps points up to one year. Introduce Chilean Pension Fund to Morgan Stanley as clients in many products, including Latam currencies spot and forwards, G10 currencies spot and forwards and Asia currencies spot and forwards. Trade high volume of pension funds leveraging knowledge of pension funds' industry. Maintain local network contacts in the U.S. and Santiago, Chile

Skills Required:
REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field and five (5) years of experience trading Chilean pesos outright and swaps in Chile local markets on behalf of a global financial services organization. Prior experience must include management of offshore trading portfolios, strong network of contacts in the U.S. and Chile, and primary Pension Fund relationships, as well as experience working on the money markets desk for international banks. Fluency in Spanish language (reading, writing speaking) is required.
