Job Overview:
Manages and reviews the preparation of all regulatory reports that are submitted to the Federal Reserve Bank, various State banking departments, Cayman Islands Monetary Authority and the Department of Commerce by all U.S. branches and agencies, including its subsidiaries and special purpose entities. This position requires extensive background in regulatory and financial reporting. Experience should encompass accounting, compliance, banking operations, finance, budget, internal controls, internal management reporting and project management. A comprehensive knowledge of all reports that are due to the Federal Reserve Bank, the various State banking regulatory authorities, the Department of Commerce and Cayman Islands Monetary Authority is critical. The job's main responsibility is to review all required regulatory and financial reports and to ensure their correctness, consistency and prompt submission. The position requires intensive involvement in special projects relating to the bank's regulatory reporting tool maintenance and upgrades, GL system interfaces and the introduction of new banking products. The manager should also be able to assist the Head of Regulatory Reporting Group on other regulatory matters.

Responsibilities:
· Liaise with various internal (i.e. Legal, Compliance, Audit, Territory Governance, Finance Project Office and Business Operations) and external constituencies (i.e. regulators, external auditors and consultants).
· Coordinate bank examinations and internal and external audits.
· Responsible for the review of the various general ledger systems and act as a liaison between the various accounting groups within the Finance and Tax department. .
· Maintain full knowledge of current Federal, State and other regulatory reporting agencies' requirements, rules and regulations.
· Knowledge of the bank's regulatory reporting tools (i.e. Reg-Reporter V.6.0 or V5.2 DART system), general ledgers, offered products and its related activities.
· Perform research on changes on new regulatory reporting requirements and accounting standards and its impact to the group's reporting.
· Establish and maintain communication with the Financial Reporting Group, the Project Office Group, and the Control Reconciliation Group and ensure that regulatory reporting requirements are properly addressed on all levels of system and procedural changes, including the introduction of new bank products.

Skills

· Minimum of 10-15 years experience in Bank Regulatory Reporting.
· Master's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required. CPA is desirable.
· Strong regulatory financial reporting knowledge prevalent in banking/financial institutions.
· Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS including recent pronouncements.
· Strong technical, analytical and management skills.
· Expert knowledge of Reg Reporter.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
