As Vice President Medical Operations Affairs, imagine yourself... *Providing the strategic direction and oversight of Oshkosh and Fond du Lac's medical operations functions with Aurora Medical Group (AMG) which include facilitating the development and refinement of physician practices and serving as the primary physician administrative liaison. *Overseeing the medical affairs functions at Aurora Medical Center Oshkosh which include coordinating performance improvement, resource management, and quality related activities. *In collaboration with other senior leadership, participating in the strategic planning for clinical care delivery within the medical center and physician practices within AMG. Collaborating between clinics, medical centers, and the community to ensure the integration of initiatives and services. *Acting as AMG's administrative liaison between leadership and clinic physicians throughout the Oshkosh and Fond du Lac market which includes developing employment agreements, ensuring regulatory compliance, directing care management initiatives, and documenting physician performance reviews. *Planning, directing and evaluating the quality of care initiatives within the medical center and AMG clinics to ensure cost effective comprehensive health services. Establishing standards of performance, developing monitoring mechanisms and outcomes tracking, and communicating relevant summary information to appropriate areas. *Overseeing physician peer review to ensure processes are documented and meet organizational standards. *Overseeing physician practices and productivity, identifying potential efficiency enhancements, and coordinating refinements as appropriate. *Overseeing and executing communication plans to physicians to ensure the organization's and the market's strategic initiatives are integrated into physician practices and goals. *Ensuring efficacy of the local physician recruitment process in conjunction with Aurora physician recruitment services. *Coordinating and providing staffing for Medical Staff committee activities within the medical center, serving as a resource, and providing appropriate leadership and guidance. Plannning and implementing programs as needed for achieving Medical Staff goals. Collaborating with the committee's president, other elected Medical Staff officers, and department and committee chairpersons. *Providing leadership for the medical center's capacity management initiatives working with all disciplines to improve patient flow in support of optimal patient care. *Coordinating a system of medical center patient care review through which the Medical Staff can monitor physician performance and the Credentials Committee can maintain appropriate physician privileges. *Being responsible for taking an active leadership role in a non-profit or community based organizations by providing community service hours or serving in professional organizations.
