As Vice President Medical Operations, imagine yourself... *Being responsible for facilitating the development and refinement of specialty physician practices throughout Aurora and serving as the primary physician administrative staff liaison to ensure cost effective, high quality, comprehensive health services. *Being responsible for the coordination of the administrative functions for specialty provider staff, which includes but is not limited to implementation of employment agreements, regulatory compliance, care management initiatives, physician performance reviews, etc. *Serving as the Operations Officer of the Aurora Medical Group (AMG) specialty physicians. *Interfacing collaboratively with clinic physician leaders and market leadership ensuring consistent clinical practice of specialty care. *Providing review and guidance toward the presentation and promotion of quality care through audits, assurance of peer review, quality management, etc. *Being responsible for fostering an environment of teamwork, collaboration and mutual trust among specialty physicians and administration. *Monitoring and assisting specialty physicians in productivity and practice efficiency enhancements. *Ensuring there is an operating plan for the specialty Aurora Medical Group division that is integrated with the Aurora Health Care strategic and operating plans. Also ensures that these plans are documented, communicated and reviewed and revised annually in sufficient detail to guide the Aurora Medical Group organization. *Facilitating the implementation of Quality and Care Management initiatives in conjunction with the clinic Management Committees.
