As Vice President Neuroscience Program, imagine yourself... *Developing and maintaining integrated, cost effective, high quality, and comprehensive neuroscience services. Fostering an environment of teamwork, collaboration and mutual trust among physicians, administration and other caregivers. Unifying and aligning employed and non-employed physicians whose patients receive neuroscience services through Aurora. *Establishing and leading the system-wide neuroscience leadership team to advance neuroscience quality, patient experience and growth. Offering recommendations for improvements and incorporating patient experience and employee engagement into future initiatives. *In collaboration with the system-wide neuroscience team, determining key priorities to advance the overall strategy, clinical direction, and growth of the program. Ensuring neuroscience services growth and key priorities are integrated and aligned with Aurora's strategic and operating plans. *In conjunction with operational leadership, ensuring consistent clinical and administrative practices are developed, implemented and maintained for neuroscience services through the establishment of best practice outcome measures, quality and volume results, care management initiatives, productivity standards, safety, patient loyalty and retention of patients. *In partnership with physicians, the system clinical program team, and administrative leadership, setting clinical direction for established defined areas such as acute stroke, epilepsy, neurosurgery (spine, cranial), movement disorders, and others. Identifying and developing opportunities for new services or improvements to existing services. *In collaboration with Aurora's research department, developing relationships with academia and industry to perform research and clinical trials throughout Aurora. *Communicating effectively with all leadership and staff to ensure that physicians are aware of strategic market initiatives. Collaborating with growth and market development to identify growth strategies and market opportunities. *Facilitating the implementation of quality and care management initiatives in conjunction with the clinic management committees. Documenting, monitoring and communicating quality and care management initiatives and their impact on communities. *In collaboration with operations leadership and medical group leadership, making recommendations to Aurora leadership regarding technology advancement and adoption and placement for neuroscience. *Working directly with medical group leadership in determining recruitment needs and assisting with recruitment of neurology and neurosurgeons and ensuring efficacy of the physician and provider recruitment process. *Participating in the development of annual growth and operating plans at the system level. *Being responsible for taking an active leadership role in a non-profit or community based organizations by providing community service hours or serving in professional organizations.
