Vice President of Engineering Technology Job
Seeking a high caliber VP of Engineering Technology with a demonstrated track record of success leading complex engineering and technology groups within the home appliance/white goods/ consumer durables industry.
The select candidate will be consumer and marketplace focused and will have 20+ years broad based multiple category consumer appliance (refrigeration, dishwasher, cooking and laundry) experience.
This position will be responsible for assuring revenue and profit growth objectives, delivering innovative products and improving existing products on schedule, meeting cost targets, quality and reliability requirements.
Responsibilities:
· Lead and execute product development projects and facilitate robust decision making.
· Develop and execute multiyear technology roadmaps and strategic product plans.
· Assure that product development tollgate process is being adhered to across the engineering and technology organization.
· Ensure products meet all government and regulatory mandates including energy efficiency, resource efficiency, sustainability, materials usage, and codes.
· Manage expense budgets and allocate resources to achieve goals.
· Deliver annual growth targets in revenue, unit shipments, product quality and cost improvement.
· Stay current and anticipates changes in technologies and regulations.
· Assure product introductions are on the leading edge of needs.
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree, advanced degree in engineering, MBA preferred.
Home Appliance, White Goods, Consumer Durables industry experience.
Experience with DFSS, FMEA, FEA, and DOE, strategic planning, financial statements, quality processes in manufacturing and design, product development tollgate processes, and project management.
