Vice President of Field Management recruitment
MISSION
The VP of Field Management is responsible for acting as a liaison between UCFA corporate office and the regional offices. The VP of Field Management will interact with the Executives and the Managing Directors all around the country to result in a broad set of strategic items including the achievement of growth related objectives and the optimism of the overall practice.
The ideal candidate should exhibit excellent communication skills, good judgment, and an ability to take initiative. The ability to effectively interact and train a dynamic and intellectual group who believes in improving not only the client experience, but the employee experience is absolutely critical to this role.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with UC Senior Management to learn our vision of how we care for our regional offices
- Train with Sr. VP of Advisory Services on how we position and present ourselves to our regional offices and managing directors
- Learn the United Capital Business Model for how we manage our offices
- Host periodic training calls with Managing Directors across United Capital
- Work with advisors across the nation on business planning and strategic issues
- Coordinate with internal departments effectively for resolution to outstanding issues.
- Establish a relationship with all of our Advisers and Managing Directors across the country, becoming intimately familiar with the specific requirements for each office and the financials for individual offices.
- Assist in the creation, monitoring and updating of advice and financial plans for each of our offices across the country as well as being highly proficient in the technologies and applications used to produce client deliverables
- Have the ability to articulate recommended business strategies both orally and in written form
- Ability to work with our Managing Directors and our regional offices in a virtual setting
Requirements
Experience and Education:
- A bachelor's degree and/or related work experience
- Must have 5-7 years of experience in the Financial Services Industry
- Experience with various financial planning software tools
- Relationship skills / Strategic business and financial acumen
- Wholesaling experience is a plus
Skills and Knowledge:
- Demonstrated track record in the financial services space
- Demonstrated analytical ability and good judgment, problem solver, takes responsibility, demonstrates personal integrity, honesty and is able to deal with confidential information on a daily basis
- A self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, positive professional attitude and demeanor
- Ability to proficiently work in multiple financial planning applications, as well as Excel based templates and PowerPoint
- Must be able to exercise judgment, tact and diplomacy when dealing with other executives and levels of management
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Professional and articulate with strong attention to detail
