Vice President of Operations
Responsibilities
* Manage a 100+ person staff with 6+ direct reports.
* Key production areas overseen are: audio encoding, video encoding, menu authoring, menu programming, QC and shipping.
* Organize and train staff into a highly focused, highly functional, detail and task-oriented team capable of achieving 100% on time, quality deliveries.
* Coordinate with management in gathering, analyzing, summarizing, and preparing recommendations to project future requirements and operating forecasts.
* Work with clients and sales teams to accurately meet clients' needs.
* Effectively manage staff resources to ensure timely completion of client deliverables.
* Report on client service related metrics.
* Communicate regularly with peers and management.
* Communicate with customers, discerns key issues and recommends solutions.
* Regularly present product information to customers and partners.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
* Eight plus years of experience in Technical Product Support, Development, Testing and/or implementation, including 5+ years of managerial experience. Managerial experience to include: mentoring and training a Professional Services Organization, improving customer delivery and project profitability, measuring team performance, and developing an international services team.
* Ability to express complex and technical issues as understandable language, both inside and outside the Department, and with clients and other stakeholders.
* Must have excellent customer management skills, good business acumen, and a strong technical background.
* A successful track record of meeting or exceeding established service level agreements.
* Oversee JAVA and DVD/BD Software teams to ensure they function as effectively as possible.
* Mentor and develop Operational Managers that are supervised by this role.
* In-depth technical knowledge of Digital workflows, with Post Production knowledge of DVD and BD authoring is a plus.
* Supports Sales with customer quotes and analysis.
