Job Description

- Manages an Import Section and oversees daily activities ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards and adherence to procedures and regulatory requirements.

- Reviews and approves import activities such as letter of credit issuance, standby LC, bank guarantee, import finance and shipping guarantee.

- Develops and implements new processes/procedures to improve operating efficiency and to ensure timeliness and accuracy of workflow.

- Modifies existing procedures and analyzes and resolves non-routine and/or complex operational problems often requiring research and involvement from other business functional experts.

- Coordinates and supports Business Continuity, ISO and Capacity Planning.

- Involves in a variety of projects and acts as a Subject Matter Expert.

- Leads and directs the work of others and ensures staffing level and capacity are appropriate to meet production requirements.

- Responsible for expense management, enterprise management, and building business/client relationships.

- Responsible for performance management including employee development, compensation decisioning, and talent planning.

Requirements

Required Skills:

- University graduate, preferably Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.

- Excellent knowledge in trade products and all round expereince in trade operations. Preferably with ten years experience in trade operations at managerial level.

- Excellent knowledge in ICC Uniform Rules (UCP600, URC522, URR725, ISBP), Compliance - OFAC, AML, KYC, etc.

- Strong knowledge in Business Continuity, ISO and Capacity Planning.

- Capable of applying Six Sigma tools to achieve an effective and efficient end-to-end process

- Strong people management and leadership skills.

- Strong communication, analytical and presentation skills

- Fluent in spoken and written English, Mandarin Cantonese
