Vice President, Private Banking Compliance recruitment
Our client is one of the largest Banks in the world and due to the fast growth of their Private Banking arm, they are seeking a mid-senior level Compliance professional to join the team.
Reporting to the Regional Head of Private Banking Compliance, you will be responsible for but not limited to reviewing Private Banking business activities and ensuring compliance with existing regulations and policies, highlighting issues to senior management and assisting in the development and implementation of corrective action plans. The successful candidate will provide input to various business managers to ensure that new product/business activities are developed in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
You will have at least 8 years relevant banking experience with a compliance or audit background. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and working knowledge of the laws and regulations affecting the banking industry in the region are a must. A particularly strong understanding of the Securities market in Hong Kong is preferred.
