Vice President – Private Debt Funds

Key Responsibilities:

- Evaluate, structure, negotiate, perform due diligence, and close new loans.  Lead the due diligence process and the preparation of investment materials for the Investment Committee.

- Portfolio Management, including nonperforming loans.  Responsible for tracking performance of portfolio companies, pro-actively identifying trends which may indicate under-performance and/or need for restructuring.  For companies in work-out, proposing specific restructuring strategies and decisively executing on restructurings to reduce risk and maximize return.

Qualifications

- Candidates will have 7 - 12 years total work experience with 4 – 6 years experience within a Private Debt Fund, BDC, Mezzanine Fund, Principal Finance team or Hedge Fund with a strong Private transaction deal history. Candidates at specialty Finance arm of a lender will also be looked at.

- Candidates must have an excellent credit background with a strong track record in middle market par, stressed and distressed investments.

- Strong modeling and accounting skills

- Good communication skills

- Strong closing skills
