Vice President – Ratings Advisory
My client is a leading European investment bank. Following an extremely successful first year, they are looking to add an experienced VP level individual to their new Ratings Advisory business.
This is an outstanding opportunity to join a small, dynamic ratings advisory team within a leading, fully integrated investment bank. The team was established in 2012 by a senior hire from one of the ratings agencies and due to the initial success of the team they are looking to add to the group at VP level.
The successful applicant will act in the capacity of an in-house ratings expert and will be responsible for doing rating assessment for transactions being led by Structured Acquisition Finance, Debt Capital Markets and Event Finance. The role will also involve supporting deal teams in preparing rating related pitch work, reviewing financial model outputs and performing credit analysis as part of the overall structuring exercise. The new hire will also be expected to lead transactions where a ratings advisory mandate is being executed as well as maintaining a regular dialogue with ratings agencies.
Candidates must have at least 5 years experience working in a similar capacity for either a ratings agency or an investment bank and should have in depth knowledge of the investment banking product suite.
