Primary Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include the following:-
- Active participation in the MDM build workstream to expand data offering, develop service capabilities related to Data Maintenance Workflow, Exception Management, Data Reconciliation, Data Dictionary, Data Quality, Master Management Capabilities (Unique ID, Entity Relationships and History) etc.
- Active participation in the Data Strategy and Governance workstream with focus on the development of service capabilities to support IRDS, such as Data Ownership, Data Sourcing and Provisioning, Data Strategy and Data Architecture.
- Responsibility for project coordination, project planning and project delivery within IRDS
- Management of projects through entire project lifecycle
- Management of multiple projects in parallel throughout the year
- Assistance in project pipeline management and prioritisation of project
- Scope and execution of reference data service deliverables with business, technology and operations.
- Consult with stakeholders to understand content requirements and manage delivery
- Coordinate business analysis of requirements and efficiently utilise the available pool of Business Analysts. Including clear documentation of all requirements and hand-off to RDS IT for build/delivery
- Production of detailed project plans, reflecting all activities and following an agreed engagement/tollgate model
- Focus on identification and realisation of project benefit cases
- Management of project issues and risks, and ensure appropriate escalations to programme level
- Preparation and management of project documentation to communicate progress and vision to internal stakeholders
- Close coordination with counterpart consumer project managers to ensure delivery against plan
- Close liaison with IT counterparts to ensure IT delivery against plan
- Close liaison with RTB teams to ensure UAT testing is completed, Operational Readiness and seamless delivery of projects into production
- Ensure adherence to Change Control management process
- Management of project interdependencies and leveraging of project synergies
Work closely with senior stakeholder to ensure working relationships manifest in excellent service delivery
- Attend planning and direction meetings to keep project on track, tracking project progress and change control.
- Communications and management reporting, both verbal and documented, providing updates on projects direction including status, risks and issues
- Assist in “selling” the vision of the IRDS programme to the stakeholders within DB
- Partner and assist in the:
- Business Analysis activities
- Consumer Adoption activities when required

- IRDS Run The Bank (RTB) Operations
- Reference Data Service (RDS) IT project managers
- IRDS Functional Heads - Onshore
- Local lead PM
Job Requirements:
Essential Skills
- Excellent project management delivery track record, working with senior stakeholders and multi-disciplined teams, gained within the Financial Markets/Investment Banking industry
- Industry experience in cross-asset reference data services, with knowledge of instrument reference data across a number of asset classes
- Experience with managing third party / vendor reference data content
- Experience with Master Data Management or Enterprise Data Management implementations
- Advanced English communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to communicate clearly and maintain healthy relationships across cross-functional teams
- Skills in project management best practice and excellent project lifecycle management skills
- Work to set deadlines and yet remain flexible if requirements change
- Understand the importance of customer focus and meeting customer needs through logical, investigative and innovative approach to problem solving
- Advanced experience with Excel and Powerpoint
- Knowledge of financial markets, reference and market data
- Knowledge of key products including Equities, FI, Derivatives, FX etc
- Knowledge of Client Reference Data
