Vice President, Risk Manager – Project Finance Job in Sydney 2000

Unlike many competitors, this organisation offers an appetite to write business and is dedicated to imbed itself further into these core banking sectors. As a result, they are keen to appoint an experienced credit risk professional who can add significant rigor to their middle office.
This position plays a major role in the ongoing management and quality of the project and leveraged finance credit portfolio’s.
Daily, you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the quality of credit analysis and monitoring of all complex project and leveraged finance deals
- Facilitating the credit risk process to ensure transaction risk and credit profiles are of the highest standard
- Lead, motivate and coach a small team of credit professionals
- Ensuring all loan documentation and ongoing administrative aspects associated with every transaction is maintained and processed in an efficient, timely and accurate fashion
- Ongoing loan portfolio monitoring and credit reporting

To assume this critical credit risk function, candidates must demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
- Significant experience assessing and monitoring complex project finance and leveraged finance transactions
- Exceptional credit analysis, research, financial modelling and cash flow analysis skills
- Up to date knowledge of APRA Banking Standards
- Exhibit confident personal presentation and influencing skills with an ability to communicate at all levels
- Previous exposure to the mining or infrastructure sectors would be an advantage
