Vice President, Solution Architecture & Business Development Job in Atlanta 30322, Georgia US
The Vice President, Business Development’s focus will be working with customers and prospects in a team-selling capacity to understand complex requirements and translate them into a solution that leverages the cloud-based technologies CoreMatrix works with. A successful candidate will have excellent communication skills necessary to articulate the solution, level of effort and costs associated with the project. The Vice President, Solution Architect Business Development will also have a wide range of experience with cloud computing technologies, including salesforce.com and will serve as a subject matter expert the sales team can utilize throughout the sales process. Previous experience in consulting, technology architecture/engineering and sales are needed to effectively meet the requirements of this position.
Required Skills/Experience:
· 10+ years experience delivering consulting services, including project management and involvement in selling services
· 3+ years hands-on experience with Salesforce.com
· Business Process Engineering / Re-engineering background, in the areas of sales, marketing, and/or customer support
· Deep understanding of cloud computing and/or web-based solutions
· Ability to link business processes with product/technical solutions
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills; executive level presence and experience facilitating meetings
· Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably technology consulting
· B.S. in Business, Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent work experience
The travel requirements for this position are expected to be in the 25-50% range.
