Vice President Supply Management recruitment
Key member of the Supply Management Americas team providing sourcing expertise to internal business partners in the acquisition of HR/CRES services. Demonstrates technical sourcing knowledge of commodities/services pertinent to specific sourcing functions. In conjunction with the sourcing team, works towards the development and execution of a disciplined Strategic Sourcing strategy.
THE ROLE INVOLVES:
Overall regional support of the "HR/CRES" Category
• Develop and drive sourcing strategy and initiatives, including all key steps such as: short and long term category planning, RFP/RFQ development, initial supplier selection / design award, price negotiations, unified supplier message, commodity / market expertise, supplier performance metrics and KPI's, T/C's, supplier contracts, supplier risk assessments, benchmarking, and cost reduction management
• Utilize RFP techniques (including eAuctions) to identify, select, and engage with suppliers to ensure competitive market advantage
• Facilitate and lead the sourcing initiative and engage other teams, such as legal, finance, Risk Management, IT, and any applicable business group, in the supplier selection process, contract and price negotiations, and supplier performance management process
• Evaluate both domestic and international markets for services being purchased
• Compile and communicate bid summary results
• Participate in pre-contract activities to define scope, service level agreements, and to develop contracts/statement of work for new HR/CRES projects and/or supplier initiatives
• Measure supplier productivity, quality and efficiency. Develop performance improvement plans with supplier and drive necessary changes.
• Provide regular supplier management reports including supplier performance, achievements/challenges, cost savings, risk assessments, opportunities to greater leverage HR/CRES deals along business and technical dimensions, as well as overall supplier relationship health
• Create, negotiate and redline agreements - including Master Agreements and SoWs - that incorporate business requirements. Focus on improving the overall value proposition to the firm by delivering cost savings, improving service levels and ensuring flexibility over the life of the agreement
• Update/maintain the contract database for all new contracts executed and existing contracts under management
• Monitor, benchmark, and analyze supply markets and conduct market intelligence
• Ensure current and continued compliance with all regulatory requirements, policies and procedures both internally and externally
• Introduce innovative sourcing ideas to the business, e.g. identify potential sourcing synergies between companies, provide real time benchmarking, share knowledge of best practices, etc.
• Develop and deliver strategy presentations to senior members of the firm

TO QUALIFY, YOU MUST POSSESS:
Bachelor's degree
• Minimum 5+ years experience in Strategic Sourcing
• HR related sourcing experience required; CRES sourcing experience a plus
• Experience with electronic RFx tools such as SAP's e-Sourcing
• Experience in creating and articulating sourcing strategies that support business unit specific business requirements, but at the same time challenge status quo
• Strong team building skills, with an ability to build consensus and engagement with key stakeholders at all levels and across organizational boundaries
• Ability to move quickly into the position and provide an immediate contribution
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills
• Capable of engaging and influencing through effective communication across the organization
• Ability to manage multiple / conflicting priorities with a strong track record of delivery
• Exhibit flexibility and adaptability in handling change
• Have a proactive work ethic, diplomacy, relationship-building skills, analytical skills, communication skills, multi-tasking and time management skills, resourcefulness, the ability to work effectively with cross-functional team members
• Advanced degree in business or law desirable
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong presentation skills
• Strong project management, relationship management, and analytical skills
