Vice President, TMT Investing – European Private Equity Fund recruitment
Our client is a major UK and European private equity group. They invest in technology, media and telecoms businesses and have a brilliant reputation within the growth/ mid market space. Investments tend to be in the £25m- £100m region.
They are now looking to add a VP to their team, who will work on the origination and execution of investments for the fund. This will involve the project management of significant parts of deals from beginning to inception, deal negotiation, management of advisors and portfolio management of investments.
Candidates will work in either private equity or venture capital firms at the moment, and probably have 3- 6 years experience in investing. This will probably be combined with training within investment banking or strategy consulting.
Clearly, the successful candidate will have a very strong background in technology or telecoms investing and a real interest in the sector
