Job Description
- Product Strategy
- Develop, own and maintain the product management strategy for existing and new Global Trade Supply Chain products and solutions, focusing on the FI client segment
- Drive the targets and action plans for achieving product revenue, portfolio size, risk and return targets
- Product Management and Development
- Ensure the product offerings are in line with our risk governance framework
- Ensure our products are market competitive both in terms of features, capabilities and pricing.
- Lead business and product development efforts, by continually aligning our trade solutions and platforms to help achieve business growth targets on a Pan Asia basis
- Create and drive product ideas specific to Asia end-to-end (including pricing capabilities). Manage the FI trade programs.
- Serve as product capabilities expert and technical trade product expert.
- Working with Key Business Partners
- Work with and drive Sales towards a profitable and balanced growth in FI trade products, in line with the Product Strategy
- Co-ordinate closely with Global Product Management (US and International) teams to monitor the health or existing products and with Global Innovation and Development teams for new products
- Work closely with Credit, Compliance and Legal risk partners to ensure concerns are proactively addressed for new and existing solutions. Navigate in-country regulatory and compliance changes in order to evaluate and assess impact to the trade and supply chain solutions products
- Work with the Delivery and Support partners, Trade operations, Implementation and Client Services, to ensure smooth delivery of products and service and successful product launches
- Support the complex, specialized trade needs, including RFPs, as a senior deal team member in large FI trade finance deals as well as MNC/Corporate proposals which involve FI elements
- Monitor and Advance the Sales pipeline
- Product Profile Building and Training
- Provide segment solutions content for training materials and to provide sales with tools to support their product revenue growth goals
- Plan for and conduct training sessions as appropriate
- Plan and participate in internal and external client events to promote our FI Trade products
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration or equivalent qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of Trade/supply chain product experience working for either bank or financial institution and with experience in payments
- Structured and organized with a track record in delivering strategic projects which required liaison with individuals at different levels within the organization . Proven strategic and analytical abilities
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, Mandarin, Cantonese (optional)
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Strong PC skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint Strong understanding of the full product management lifecycle and a proven ability to deliver in a highly matrixed organization
