Vice President- Trade Support recruitment
You will be reporting into the Head of Trade Support helping in the migration of the process and developing of the team from day one supporting the Rates Trading business in Europe and the America's.You will also be responsible for:
- Migrating securities products and Rates Trade Control functions from multiple donor locations to the captive site.
- Developing and implementing of department wide policies and procedures, and directing day-to-day operations
- Proactively identifying opportunities to lower operating costs, whilst maintaining performance.
- Overseeing of staff and processes that monitor high frequency / real time transaction flow, trade updates, and exception queues to ensure that trades are flowed timely from front to back systems
- Validation of interest rate derivatives back to available documentation; such as Interest Rates Swaps and ZC Inflation Swaps, as well as affirming trades back to Broker documentation
- Reconciling, analyzing and de-escalating any false breaks.
The Successful Applicant
You will be an MBA from a reputed institution with 10+ years of prior experience in managing people and handling processes with atleast 6 years specifically within Trade Support.You have a sound working knowledge of the Investment Banking industry with excellent knowledge of Bonds, Cash and OTC Derivatives products within the US and EMEA markets. The candidate must have in-depth experience in the various stages of a trade life cycle and risk and control focus; and possess strong analytical skills, and problem-solving skills. Proven management and leadership skills, expertise in creating an empowered, high-functioning team is essential. Prior experience within a migration process or cross location management ,would be a plus.Ideal candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills as they will be interacting directly with stakeholders abroad. A "hands-on" approach is expected in this role.
