Summary:
The Digitas Strategy Analysis Group is responsible for driving strategic thinking and economic insight across multiple client engagements. The primary function of the VP, Director is to provide marketing solutions across customers and channels to improve client decision-making.
Detailed Description:
• Define scope, recommended approach, and manage execution of major strategic projects for clients
• Direct ongoing client relationships in order to consistently exceed client expectations and strengthen their overall Digitas relationship
• Serve as thought leader in aligning strategy with a client’s business goals and objectives
• Extend client relationships into increasingly more actionable and value added services:
• Convince clients of the value of strategic services to their business - help them define needs and potential solutions
• Integrate strategy activities into a broader continuous improvement customer relationship management process
• Play an active role in new client acquisition and new business pitches, identify new opportunities and establish relationships with prospective clients, participate in or lead several new business initiatives simultaneously
• Codify and publish formal frameworks and methodologies for approaching major strategic issues, both leveraging existing Digitas intellectual capital and developing innovative concepts
• Provide methodological support, coaching, and training to staff
• Create a team environment and participate in the hiring of new staff
Qualifications:
• 10+ years of business experience in Management Consulting, Marketing, or Interactive Consulting
• In-depth knowledge of integrated marketing and CRM disciplines (including primary research, customer segmentation, targeting, direct marketing, customer care)
• Degree in marketing, statistics, mathematics, or economics: MBA or advanced degree a must
• Possession of excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills
• Proven leadership ability with strong client relationship skills
• Experience managing and coordinating multiple strategy projects across internal teams and client relationships
• Must be willing to travel up to 40%
