This position will involve working closely with the planning and development teams in Palo Alto, California . Expert- level knowledge of and solid understanding of key trends in mobile media industry is required.
Job Requirements
- Strong knowledge of global technical trends in mobile internet. Insight in mobile media environment and key players.
- Very strong analytical skills and architect experiences.
- Abundant experiences in establishment of technical credibility with senior management in mobile operators. Strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment both as an individual contributor and a technical lead for planning and coordinating tasks with an offshore team.
- • Experienced in media architecture design that includes, software-HW partitioning, performance and bandwidth optimization
- • Good analytical and mathematical skills to develop new video processing algorithms
- • Knowledge in video streaming and video conferencing: Both codec level and protocol level knowledge is expected
- Provides systems engineering and architectural design expertise in the development of media solutions. The candidate must have a solid understanding of the system design and architecture of commercial media solutions and deployment approaches. The candidate must also have an in-depth knowledge of media protocols, products, and technologies.

- Video endpoints
- Streaming Video
- Multipoint video conferencing
- Digital Signage
- Video content management and storage
- Recording solutions for video
- Network provisioning (bandwidth and Quality of Service engineering) for Video and other IP-based collaboration technologies
- Experience with overall collaboration integration. Customers of all sizes are increasingly requiring integrated collaboration technology that is seamlessly integrated. This technical skill is focused on application integration, as opposed to room design and A/V integration.
- Familiarity with A/V design concepts, although this position does not involve direct A/V design tasks
- Encryption, Firewall/NAT transversal, and other security considerations with video and other collaboration technologies.
B.S. in Computer Science, or related technical discipline. M.S., Ph.D.
5 to 10 years experience in Media Solution architecture / software / hardware development.
