The Group is involved in a broad range of financial services in commercial finance, structured finance, alternative finance, credit insurance, bonds and guarantees. The financing facilities include factoring, loans, mezzanine financing, non-main stream financing such as media financing, private equity investments and providing creative capital and credit solutions to growing businesses.
VICE PRESIDENT OR ASSISTANT VICE PRESIDENT, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT – TO BE BASED IN THAILAND
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer in Thailand and Management of the Singapore Head Office, the successful candidate will be based in our overseas subsidiary in Bangkok; an established financial institution listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand and a leader in providing factoring services in Thailand. He will be part of the Business Development team with the following responsibilities:
- Market the subsidiary’s financial services which includes factoring, equipment financing (leasing and hire purchase), inventory, contract and trade financing as well as to grow the export factoring portfolio
- Source and call on new prospects to acquire new accounts
- Manage clients’ needs and objectives
- Active monitoring and reviewing the portfolio
- Conduct financial and qualitative analysis on companies
- Achieve monthly performance targets
- Assist in exploring business expansion and acquisition plans
Requirements:
- Degree in Banking Finance / Accounting / Business / Economics or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience at a managerial level in the financial institution with exposure to international trade finance, business development and credit management
- Credit/legal documentation knowledge is essential
- Good project management and acquisition skills
- Outgoing personality, results oriented, and able to adapt to a foreign country culture and environment
- Independent and confidence to do well under pressure
- Ability to communicate and understand basic Thai language will be an added advantage
