Visual Designer (part-time) Job in San Ramon 94583, California US
Position Summary
The Visual Designer will be responsible for developing, and implementing visual designs for the web and for print for the Sales department. These will consist of graphics and polished PowerPoint presentations and proposal templates for print. For the web, the Designer will develop customized web pages used by the Sales department for product demonstrations.
Candidates must be able to maintain a consistent look-and-feel throughout different design mediums using either the company’s branding, or by adapting the design of a customer’s website as the guideline. This person must also have the ability to take input and requests from other team members, and work well as a team player.
The position will report to the Director of Sales and will be located at Accela HQ in San Ramon, CA. Local candidates only please.
Essential Duties Responsibilities
- Design and produce graphics for sales materials as requested, including: web site pages and templates; PowerPoint presentations and templates
- Generate graphics for sales proposals and software demonstrations
- Maintain presentation slide library for use by sales
Required Qualifications:
- Applications must be accompanied by a portfolio of recent work (Please indicate your website’s URL)
- 3-5 years website design experience
- Proficient in creating wireframes, storyboards, and design specs
- Strong visual skills in producing web pages, CSS style sheets and graphics
- Ability to code designs using HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Design and Web)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Specifically PowerPoint and Word)
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to balance aesthetics, innovation and usability
- Self-motivated with excellent presentation and communication skills
- Must provide portfolio or samples of professional work
