POSITION SUMMARY:
The Visual Manager supports the Director of Visual Merchandising, while managing the Floor Concept process and lifecycle of the product from adoption to seasonal direction. This role will work closely with the Merchant, Design, Planning Allocation Teams to effectively plan and direct their respective division seasonally. The Visual Merchandising Manager is responsible to ensure consistency of all visual processes across all divisions.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
- Set overall strategy for the seasonal Floor Concept process for brand consistency
- Influence promotional strategy to minimize additional store direction and merchandise movement
- Partner with Planning and Allocation to ensure stock levels support directed presentations
- Apply basic Brand Standards to ensure consistency between corporate field execution
- Provide feedback and recommendations on all visual training materials to ensure consistency across assigned divisions.
- Actively manages and develops direct reports
- Collaborate with Creative Service Team on new ideas and seasonal windows
- Participate in the product lifecycle with cross-functional partners to strategize appropriate presentations based on store size, assortment, customer profile and seasonality for assigned division.
- Manage accuracy of Floor Concept
- Continuously look for ways to improve efficiency and processes
- Collaborates with Merchandising on all protos and adoptions within division
- Partner with Regional Training and Visual Managers to ensure consistent field communication
- Attend weekly business reviews with Merchandising division

Responsible for day-to-day decision-making for assigned division. Responsible for setting visual strategy for assigned division. Ability to make decision based on selling and sell through.

ENVIRONMENT: Ability to work in fluid environment with changing priorities required. Ability to meet deadlines with frequent changes to project. Some travel required.
Experience: 5-7 years experience in Visual Presentation
Education: College Degree in Visual, Marketing preferred or relevant visual retail experience
Skills: High aesthetic and excellent visual merchandising skills
Strong organizational skills, including ability to prioritize
