Job Description We are looking for a strong VMware consultant in Costa Mesa, CA. The right candidate will have the skills and certs below: Skills / Certifications: VMware certification is a must, experience installing and configuring VM servers. Project Description: Dedicated Professional Engineering resource(s) needed to support the creation of a new UAT B1 environment in the ADL. 1) Rack-n-Stack 8 2u (DL360 G7) servers a. Properly rack-n-stack computer b. Properly cable (with cable management) and label cables 2) Install/configure/setup 4 ESX (DL360) Hosts for Wintel use 3) Install/configure/setup 3 ESX (DL360) Hosts for SQL use 4) Install/configure/setup 1 Physical (DL360) server for SQL use 5) Define/configure/setup 50 Wintel Virtual Servers (VM) based on specifications provided by ACSC 6) Define/configure/setup 9 SQL Virtual Servers (VM) based on specifications provided by ACSC 7) Rack-n-Stack 1 tape library (less than 6u) 8) Physical rack-n-stack to be worked after business hours 9) Virtual work to be worked during business hours and after business hours Note the physical labor, all the racking and stacking will be done by Unisys CE?s.
