Voice and Data Network Manager / Lead – Banking recruitment
A leading Investment Banking is seeking a Voice and Data Network Manager / Team Lead to join their EMEA Systems Support Group to manage the Voice and Data network services for the London and the EMEA region. We are seeking a strong Team Lader / Manager with a very good technical understanding rather than a strong technical hands-on person with less team leader skills.
Core responsibilities:
1.Management of the support team delivering voice and data network services to users in London and EMEA region.
2.Provision of stable voice and data networks to support EMEA business operations.
3.Maintaining business relationships and communication between London and Tokyo network teams.
4.Perform regular security analysis of all network services, taking any necessary remedial actions to address the vulnerabilities. Provide detailed analysis and recommendations for security improvements.
5.Ownership and coordination of both network related incidents and project work, both in and outside of business hours.
6.Report on network performance and capacity planning, highlighting areas of concern or areas for improved service delivery.
7.Maintain an accurate inventory of all network related hardware and services.
8.Monitoring and management of network related costs and expenditure, whilst maintaining strong vendor relationships.
Experience Required:
Extensive network experience on IP based networks. Strong team leadership skills, with ability to inspire and support team members. General understanding of voice communications, voice networking and voice recording.
Good technical knowledge of: Cisco Voice and Data networks and underlying topologies, IP-Sec, TCP/IP protocol, Firewall services.
Strong networking experience within a multi-site (pan-EMEA), Financial organisation would be highly advantageous as well as ITIL Foundation (v3).
