Preferred Candidates will be in their Senior Year. This is an internship is for Summer 2012.
The intern for this CIO division will support IBM's internal Voice Services transformation and the operationalization of our One Phone Strategy. Team member will focus on inventorying and analyzing information on the various voice services being consumed by IBM's employees. Data will be collected and analyzed using a location based approach and will be gathered from multiple sources.
The position will gain experience in effective data gathering, interviewing skills, quantitative analysis, translating insights to recommendations, and developing presentations. Fosters consulting and leadership skills through execution of specific tasks within a large program while functioning as a team member drawing on the experience of others within the team as necessary.
Preferred candidates will be senior undergraduates concentrating in Business Information Systems or Business Administration with an Information Management focus. Prior experience in computer services field a plus.
Required
- High School Diploma/GED
- Basic knowledge in quantitative data analysis, analytical modeling (class course work and outside experience)
- Basic knowledge in information technology production management fundamentals (class course work and outside experience)
- Basic knowledge in project management fundamentals (class course work and outside experience)
- Basic knowledge in basic programming background (class course work and outside experience)
- English: Fluent
