Voice Systems Engineer – Reading
InTechnology are currently recruiting for a Voice Systems Engineer, based from our offices in Reading, Berkshire.
The Voice Systems Engineer will be responsible for providing ongoing support and maintenance to InTechnology's core voice infrastructure including the BroadWorks Hosted VoIP platform and estate of Polycom handsets, including managing software upgrades and patches.
The role will also require you to handle complex faults relating to InTechnology's voice infrastructure, and working closely with the Service Delivery team by performing server-side provision tasks on the Voice platform, which may include adding customer-specific gateways and custom-number routing.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate previous experience in providing support within a similar role, preferably with exposure to some of the following areas: BroadSoft BroadWorks, Polycom Soundpoint IP handsets, Telsis IN platform, Sonus PSX GSX, Huawei SoftX3000.
In-depth knowledge of SIP messaging and TCP/IP is essential for this role including DCHP, DNS, NTP, FTP. Previous knowledge of Linux systems configuration and administration would also be advantageous.
