Role Summary/Purpose
Volante Developer for the Treasury Strategic Applications team is primarily responsibility for developing and integrating solutions for the business community.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Identify major areas of improvement and drive results
  • Apply Architecture strategies to development efforts
  • Ensure all technology solutions include appropriate controls that comply with Sarbanes-Oxley Requirements
  • Responsible for designing and enhancing the overall framework to integrate with other systems through detailed analysis of current environment and requirements
  • Develop systems, services and APIs for interfacing with open and proprietary network services and complex business logic/algorithms
  • Proactively assess new technologies to enhance the development process and optimize application delivery
  • Enforce and Ensure Functional architect (use of templates, common designs)

    Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering (or 4 years equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 5 years of software development experience (Involved in all phases of the software development lifecycle)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience implementing Java based solutions, services and/or components using Volante Designer

    Desired Characteristics
    Applicants should be able to demonstrate experience in:

  • Volante Designer specifically with SWIFT Plugin libraries - both ISO15022 (MT) and ISO20022 (MX)
  • Extensive knowledge of Object Orientated Programming, and Aspect Orientated Programming
  • Demonstrated experience in application development (including both functional and technical design work)
  • Knowledge of IT controllership methodologies and standards and demonstrated experience though project execution compliant with systems development life cycle methodology
  • Strategic perspective with demonstrated accountability execution fulfillment
  • Strong organizational skills – ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent interpersonal, written/verbal communication, and leadership skills with the ability to quickly build credibility, influence and make recommendations to all levels
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment
  • Experience with JMS, J2EE Web technology such as JSP/JSTL, Servlet. Web page development such HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Ajax
  • Development experience with TIBCO Business Works
  • Understanding of Service Orientated Architecture and Business Process Management
  • Knowledge of/experience using FIX protocol
  • Broad knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, processes and controls
  • Strategic perspective with demonstrated accountability execution fulfillment
  • Change Agent with ability to drive compliance, protocols, standardization
