Volvo Truck Center Sweden AB is a dealer fully owned by Volvo Trucks Corporation but a separate legal entity. We consist of 16 workshops, 4 Bus Centers and 2 disassembly shops for trucks. The company is operating around the three cities, Stockholm, Göteborg and Malmö. We are approx 600 employees working with sales and service. We deliver around 850 new and 750 used trucks every year. The main mission for the position is to advise and support the management team and individual managers on all HR-related issues that drive business performance. This involves translating business strategy into aligned HR plans and actions and ensuring they are delivered in the business.
The position reports to the HR Manager of the Volvo Truck Center and is a part of the management team of Region East with head office in Sollentuna.
Main Responsibilities
- To achieve the HR objectives according to Volvo Truck Center business plan.
- Act as change agent to support the management team in the roll out of new organisational initiatives.
- Support and coach line managers with professional HR support and knowledge in areas such as recruitment, performance management, compensation benefit, labor law, succession planning.
- Support managers and coordinate yearly processes such as VGAS (volvo group attitude survey) and PBP (personal business plan).
- Be an active member of the management team of region East.
- Take lead in projects to contribute to the development of the HR function.
Qualifications
- A Masters degree in Human Resources and some years of working experience within the field.
- Good knowledge and understanding of operational HR.
- A good working knowledge of labour law.
- Customer focused approach, with the drive to deliver results.
- High level of integrity and credibility.
- A proven interest in people development.
- Strong communicator with good verbal and written skills, including good level of written and spoken Swedish as well as English.
- Coaching/facilitation/advising skills to help drive transformation and change in the organisation.
