VP – Credit Approver ( Financial Institutions ) recruitment
An Asian bank is looking Senior Credit Approver to manage a distinct portfolio of Financial Institutions/Non-Banking FIs to minimise credit losses.
Responsibilities:
to manage various credit portfolios and bad debt forecast with other business units
- to provide guidance to business units on preparation of qualitty credit applications
- to ensure no overdue reviews and credit applications are approved within appropriate delegated credit authority(for those who are already in approving authority)
- to review past due and excesses on regular basis to ensure that the appropriate and timely actions are undertaken by business units
- to identify possible streamlining to enhance the effectiveness of the credit monitoring and control process
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of credit risk analysis experiences in financial institutions, preferably with a FRM or CFA.
- Experience in the banking and credit risk/rating function, or similar, where credit risk management is a key part of the job
- Strong analytical background which can be applied to counterparty analysis
- Comprehensive product knowledge including derivatives
- Knowledge and understanding of financial statements
