VP – Liquidity Risk recruitment
This role will involve :
- Supporting the development of Stress Tests for Local Branches, including
- discussing the suitability of the Stress Test model assumptions with the Local Treasurers;
- working with Local Treasurers to set up playbooks used in the Liquidity Risk System
- assisting Regional / Local Treasurers in identifying and assessing liquidity risk factors when developing funding plans using Stress Test results;
- Support the documentation of Stress Scenarios, the assumptions used in Stress Tests, and the results;
- Conduct regular Stress Test for Local Branches; review results with Local Treasurers, and assist in the preparation of results presentation to Branch ALCOs;
- Developing new requirements, liaising with systems support on data validity, systems updates and problems.
Supporting the Liquidity Risk Management Function
- Support regional initiatives, including impact of non-Treasury systems rollout and process changes from new business initiatives;
- Support delivery of Treasury global or regional initiatives in Asia;
- Keep track of regulatory changes and advising Treasury management of their impact;
- Assist in preparation of presentations to risk committees, local regulators and senior management;
- Coordinate updates of Liquidity Risk Policy as well as Contingent Funding Plan for the Asia Region;
- Support the New Product Proposal process to ensure liquidity risk issues are appropriately identified and controlled.
An ideal candidate will have:
- An understanding of banking and market products;
- A background in Treasury funding or analysis of risk;
- Experience with stress testing and reporting;
- Some background in financial reporting and data analysis;
- Project management experience;
