This leading firm is among the world’s most respected and widely utilised sources for credit ratings, research and risk analysis. With an aggressive expansion strategy in the Asia-Pacific region, a VP, Senior Analyst role has been created.
You will be responsible for managing a small team and will oversee a portfolio of Asian corporates with a focus on Chinese counterparties. You will be heavily involved in the ongoing analysis of the credit profile of rated corporates, conducting credit research and writing credit reports, special comments and outlooks for companies and industry sectors. You will interact with senior company executives and will build and maintain high profile relationships with investors, issuers and regulators. You will also present credit commentary in rating committees and other external analytical meetings.
To be successful in this role, you will be a senior credit professional with a minimum of 10-years relevant analytical experience preferably analysing the corporate sector with a focus in Asia within another financial institution or major research house. You will possess a strong quantitative aptitude and demonstrated analytical ability to write comprehensive and thought provoking research on individual companies and industry sectors. Managing client relationships at a very senior level is a key prerequisite therefore you will bring a mature and balanced personality with articulate and succinct communication skills.
