VP – Treasury Lawyer recruitment
Our client is a global financial institution with offices spread across the globe. The successful candidate will be responsible for working in a regional legal team based in Singapore to cover primarily Rates and FX products.
Responsibilities:

- The primary focus of the role will be to support the growing needs of the Asia-Pacific businesses including FX, Rates, Fixed Income, E-commerce, Loans Trading, Structured Products and Securitisation transactions.
- The successful applicant will be expected to provide local coverage, including legal advice on regulatory matters and litigation management, as well as provide occasional support to the region.
- Day to day functions will involve business development, transactional and advisory work, documentation and participation in industry based initiatives.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt to challenging conditions are required for this role.

Key Requirements:
- At least 5 years post-qualified experience in a top tier law firm or bank legal department.
- Experience in banking, finance and regulatory advisory (Securities and Futures Act, Financial Advisers Act and Banking Act) related work will be an advantage.
