Working as part of a new team consisting of a few projects across Asia Pacific. The program scope focus on technical aspects of the production of regulatory reports produced by Operations for regulators across APAC.

The new Change Management Team will collaborate with Operations BAU and line teams Subject Matter Experts, IT, Sourcing, Compliance and Ops Regulatory, Control Risk Management , Ops COO Business Management to achieve several program objectives:

  • Increase automation rate in production of regulatory reports.
  • In turn, improve controls and reduce risks associated with regulatory report production.
  • Reduce 3rd party systems/ vendor expenses and IT cost by rationalising the number of systems used for regulatory reporting
  • Adopt BAU vendor management process for vendor applications already in used.
  • Design interim IT support model for VBA macros and access database which are used in high risk reports.
  • As the Project Manager you will have oversight for Singapore based regional Commodities, Futures Options, as well as onshore across 8 locations; Shanghai, Mumbai, Seoul, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Taipei and Sydney.

    You must be able to start work no later than mid-June 2013 and have 8 or more years of experience in investment banking project management roles. Of which, at least 2 years in Operations (middle/ back office) project management role. Previous experience in project managing regulatory report projects would be an advantage. Knowledge of DCM products and trade lifecycle process flows is essential. You will be technically savvy and be able to work effectively with IT teams (development, application support and infrastructure IT).

    Experience in chairing Working Groups Meetings with senior attendees is a must, as is the ability to work effectively with different APAC locations, cultures, corporate levels and departments to obtain required information to progress projects till completion.
