The Role
Reporting to the Head of Compliance for Investor Services, you will be fully responsible for:
- Providing strategic compliance advisory support for business units
- Developing compliance policy and procedures as well as monitoring tools to evaluate the effectiveness of existing controls of the trust company as well as service providers
- Managing relationship with and expectation from regulators and also with different business units
- Developing control measures and to detect suspicious activities of anti-money laundering and anti-terrorist financing and monitor the effectiveness of control measures
The Successful Applicant
You will be a University Graduate holding a degree in law and/or economics with at least 5-7 years’ experience gained within a financial services compliance function. You will possess sound knowledge of HKMA and SFC regulatory requirement and have strong communication and analytical skills. Hands on experience with Fund Services will be an added advantage. Fluency in English and Chinese (both written and spoken) is preferred as this person is required to produce technical documentation for colleagues in the Asian countries.
