Role:

The Senior Audit Manager Credit will provide an independent assessment as to the adequacy of credit risk management processes and business controls

Review asset quality of the portfolio.

Undertake a diverse range of audits from Corporate and Commercial, Institutional, Markets and Trade.

Budget is used effectively , ensure risk identification is performed effectively, reducing where possible, the scope of the review without reducing the provision of assurance.

Ensure there is active communication and engagement with business unit.

Delivering appropriate assurance through quality audit reports supported by appropriate audit evidence will be required.

Qualifications:

• Senior Relationship/Credit Manager with a minimum of 5 years Banking experience

• Ideally someone who has previously held a Credit Approval Discretion

• Tertiary qualified, ideally with Professional (CPA/CA) and / or Post Graduate qualifications with technically relevant skills (i.e. accounting, Finance, credit risk)

• Collaborative approach looking for ways to enhance current process and procedures

• Ability to understand key risks and make time critical decisions

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as excellent listening and interpreting skills

• Good negotiating, influencing and conflict management skills.
