Main Objectives Purpose:
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious strategist to join a major global investment bank with a wide presence in Asia. Our client is seeking to hire a Vice president level fixed income strategist to join the Asia FX and rates Strategy desk. The ideal candidate should have minimum 5-7 years’ experience in Asia rates coverage, and have a unique way of looking at markets.
Main Responsibilities
Contribute to thematic coverage of Asia local markets. Must be willing to challenge conventional wisdom and think in terms of regimes and themes.
Generate actionable trading ideas and strategies, grounded in bottom-up fundamentals. Must be proactive in pitching these ideas to the bank’s institutional investor client base.
Contribute to periodical research products such as the Weekly and the Quarterly.
